We are writing to inform you all that there was a person who attended Church services last Sunday November 1, 2020 that has tested positive for Covid-19. Due to the current state of things such as 1) State Mandate to self-quarantine for 10-14 days AFTER exposure, 2) the fact that our Church population is considered high risk, and 3) Pastor Steve's current diagnosis of Chronic Heart Failure (which nationally CHF patients exposed to Covid have a high mortality rate) we are temporarily suspending in-person worship services until Sunday November 22, 2020. This will allow us all time to monitor ourselves and prevent the further spread of the virus in accordance with State and National policies as well as give us a buffer of time to allow this to play out naturally by course.
If anyone suspects that they may have symptoms please let us know AND go get tested immediately! Our goal is not just to provide a spiritual sanctuary but also to ensure we keep each other safe from harm and protect each other and support one another.
God be with all of us in this time of trial. I am praying for the health and well-being of all of you as well as the one who is ill. May God continue to watch over us and guide us so that we may re-gather in this place on, or about, December 6, 2020.
Should you have any immediate needs or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us through the normal channels. If anyone in the congregation finds themselves testing positive for Covid-19 after this incident, please let us know as soon as you are able so we can not only care for you but adjust the plan for the Church as well.
Blessings to you all! Stay safe and we'll see you soon.
