Upcoming Worship

You Are Welcome Here

May 2 - Communion:

Holy Communion is offered during the first Sunday of each month here at Plymouth. We believe this as an open invitation for all who believe in Christ and his sacrifice for the world. You may choose to participate or not, at your will and discretion. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to bring them to us. - “The Lord Jesus on the night when he was betrayed took a loaf of bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, ‘This is my body that is for you Do this in remembrance of me.’ In the same way he took the cup also, after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.'” – 1 Corinthians 11:23-25

May 9 - Mother's Day, Hand bells, *New Member Welcome

Sunday May 9th is Mother’s Day. I will have a small piece to honor all mothers of all kinds. Sometimes this is a sensitive day since not everyone can be a mother or some have had bad mothers. I mean no harm and simply wish to honor all who have served as a mother, even if in spirit. I had a bad mother but many who acted as mother over the years and each I am extremely grateful for.

We will have special music from the Hand Bell Choir

If approved/agreed we will welcome new members.

May 16 - *Alt. Day for New Member Welcome

If approved/agreed we will welcome new members.

Pentecost Sunday is May 23rd and is a BIG day in the life of the Church with special emphasis in Reformed Churches. This is the day that our NEW incoming Transitional Conference Minister Rev. Deb Blood will be preaching in F-M. The other UCC Churches in F-M are planning a Joint Worship Service at First Congregational in S. Fargo. I intend to go and be present and represent Plymouth. I would like for whosoever is willing to join me/us but I respect your decision not to. Please do as you feel comfortable/able and know that I support you no matter what. As your Pastor and as a Minister of the UCC I feel obligated to be present to hear Deb and welcome her to the Northern Plains Conference.

May 30 - TRINITY Sunday & 5th SUNDAY (Hymn Sing):

Trinity Sunday is May 30th and is a 5th Sunday. I have spoken to the Worship team and they are planning a Hymn Sing for this day. I am taking it as a day off since I worked the last 5th Sunday and am in need of a day of Rest.
